The Children's Resource Directory for Herefordshire draws together in one place information about the agencies dealing with children including health, education and social care. This directory has been produced in response to the need for clear and up-to-date information on services available for children and their families in this area. It is intended for use by professionals as well as by parents and young people themselves and it lists a full range of both statutory and voluntary services.
Should you notice that a particular service has been omitted, please use the contact details below to request inclusion. The directory is designed to help parents, carers, teachers, youth workers and others to find not only universal services but also organisations that can help children and young people who may be vulnerable and the families who need support.
The directory is provided as part of ISA (Information Sharing and Assessment), formerly the IRT Project. Click the headings on the left to view a brief guide to Statutory services offered or to search the full Children's Resource Directory.

By making sure that different agencies dealing with children have a consistent approach in assessing and working with all vulnerable children, the Herefordshire Child Concern Model aims to provide a seamless service for children. By forging links between partner agencies, the model will provide a straightforward process for linking children and families to appropriate services, avoiding delay, duplication and bureaucracy. A more detailed explanation and documents giving further details for professionals may be viewed by clicking on the headings to the left.
