Hereford Shopmobility opened on American Independence Day, 4th
July, 1990. The service was set up by a joint initiative between
the Council who provide the premises for the centre and the staff
to run it and the local Hereford Access For All Committee who own
the mobility vehicles and pay for any repairs on them.

Over 6000 users are currently registered with the service.
