Question:

Is there anything I should know about hiring space in high town, Hereford or other market towns?

Answer:

All Hirers are expected to carry out their own written risk assessment relating to their planned event and provide the council with a copy beforehand.

Public liability cover of £5 million (minimum) is also required and we will need to see proof of this in advance too.

Hirers should be aware that we need three weeks notice of a proposed booking to be able to carry out standard consultation procedures with the police and the local elected member.
