This depends on a variety of factors. No two consent fees are the same as Herefordshire Council is committed to ensuring the level of fees set are as equitable as possible. The Street Trading Panel take into account some or all of the following:

• Location
• Proximity to competition
• Product range
• Potential customer's size of trading unit
• Length of lay-by (if applicable)

Those traders who score highly under the above criteria will pay more than those who operate in less favourable conditions. Street Trading Consents usually run from April to April with traders being given the option to pay monthly or annually with a range of payment methods such as Direct Debit, Credit/Debit Card etc being accepted.
