Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

I don't want to fit smoke detectors in my new house because they may activate when there is no fire. Must I?

Answer:

Yes - all new dwellings must have interlinked mains  operated detectors. Detectors can have a battery back up system so that they continue to operate properly during a power failure.

Remember fire and smoke detectors SAVE LIVES.
