Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

How do I get equipment or adaptations to my home to help with daily living?

Answer:

You will need to have an assessment by an Occupational Therapist (OT). If he or she identifies risks to your independence which meet our criteria for a service, then you could have equipment on loan, or adaptations made to your home to help you.

Contact for further information: Your GP or the Community Equipment Store, who will tell the OT or District Nursing Service that you wish to have an assessment of your needs.
