Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

Can I let my dog off it’s lead in the County’s Parks?

Answer:

You must keep your dog under close control in all of the parks and open spaces in the county. Where local bylaws apply you must keep your dog on a lead.  In some of the parks such as the King George V Playing Fields in Hereford City specially fenced dog exercise areas have been allocated and you can let your dog off it’s lead in these areas.  Where dogs can run free it is still your responsibility to clean up after them.
