Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

Is Healthy Schools all about eating fruit and taking exercise?

Answer:

The National Healthy Schools Strategy is a joint initiative between Health and Education. It aims to raise standards, reduce inequalities and promote inclusion. A school can choose to work on themes, which include healthy eating and exercise, but there are 6 additional themes which contribute to all aspects of well being.
