State of Herefordshire Report

Download 2011 Key Findings

The State of Herefordshire Report is an annual report that highlights important issues for Herefordshire and aims to both reflect and inform the work of the Herefordshire Partnership. The Herefordshire Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Herefordshire that brings together the major statutory and third sector service providers as well as the private sector. The work of the Herefordshire Partnership is lead by the priorities contained in the Sustainable Community Strategy.  For more information on the work of the partnership and its current membership visit www.herefordshirepartnership.com/Partnership.aspx

The report focuses on issues that affect Herefordshire as a whole, but where appropriate also highlights where this affects particular parts of county.  The Research Team has also produced a set of documents that look in more detail at the key issues for particular areas (localities) within Herefordshire.  These documents and more information about localities can be found on the following page www.herefordshire.gov.uk/aboutlocalities

Previously we produced theme chapters (reflecting the themes of the Sustainable Community Strategy) containing more detail on particular topics.  It has not been possible to produce these theme chapters for 2011, but the 2010 chapters are still available from the resource box below.  Some of the detail included in these chapters is published on individual topic pages, which are updated as and when new information becomes available.  If you are not sure if an update is available please get in touch using the contact details below.

The future of the State of Herefordshire report
2011 will be the last year that the State of Herefordshire report is produced in its current form.  From 2012 the report will be merged with the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment to produce one summary document that can serve both purposes.  To inform this process we would welcome users comments on what they find useful about the current report, whether there are any gaps in data or any improvements that could be made.  You can forward any comments to researchteam@herefordshire.gov.uk or contact us directly on 01432 260 893
