Minority groups

The views of minority groups are usually not adequately captured in surveys and other ways of consulting residents in Herefordshire.  Therefore “Herefordshire 100” was established in 2009 to provide a mechanism to regularly consult with key minority groups to give feedback on their experiences of life in the county, in a coordinated way.  This will complement the work of the citizens' panel Herefordshire Voice that has been in operation since 2001, comprising about 1,100 residents.  A description of how Herefordshire 100 works is given in the review of the project, below, and reports on the consultation done will be published as and when they are completed.

The first two phases of the Herefordshire 100 project have been completed and the details are provided below. It was planned, and continues to the intent, that there will be further phases, however due to a lack of funding, the programme is currently on hold for an unknown period.

Following is the guide to select relevant Herefordshire 100 report, which shows the subjects researched in each phase and what groups were involved.
