UK Rivers Network

Website:  info@ukrivers.net
(Please note - no e-mails from students please. The organisation is small and run by volunteer staff who are sometimes overwhelmed by requests for assistance with school projects!)

UK Rivers is an environmental organisation which aims to protect, conserve and promote rivers and which campaigns about river issues. UK Rivers supports environmental education by offering web-site material and information pages - all of which use rivers as a focus for environmental activities. There is also an opportunity to become involved in the 'Streamwatch' project - a hands-on education project - and to provide data for a National Databank. There are also many reports and articles available from the website.
