Noise

The Service deals with problems of domestic and industrial noise by acting in an advisory and enforcement role. 'Neighbour' noise caused by barking dogs, stereo/music, DIY activities etc. often causes disturbances, which could be remedied by simple consideration of others. If neighbour noise continues to cause a problem Environmental Health Officers will assess/monitor the problem and take appropriate action. Noise complaints are dealt with on geographical areas. Complaints about industrial noise are dealt with in a similar way.
