The Estates section:

• Manages the acquisition and disposal of land and property
• Arranges leases
• Reviews rent
• Provides valuations for its clients
• Monitors and manages rating appeals
• Manages all Local Authority owned industrial estates and smallholdings
• Works with Parks & Countryside section of the Policy & Community Directorate in the management of commons
• Assists in the Property Review process
