Welcome to the environment and planning page. Please select an option from the menu on the left.Many of the Services in 'Environment and Planning' are regulatory i.e. they enforce the law. To ensure fairness in doing this Herefordshire Council has signed up to the Government's Enforcement Concordat.
Herefordshire Council is committed to sustainable development and good environmental management and has been certified to ISO 14001 since July 2002. Its current Environment Policy and Corporate Environment Strategy was adopted in July 2005.
