Safety at sports grounds
Public awareness to safety at sports grounds has been heightened in recent years giving rise nationally to the demand for more attention from local authorities.The building control service, in support of the environmental health service, provides a comprehensive inspection service to sports grounds within the local area. This is undertaken in association with the Fire Authority and, for larger venues, the Police, who together form a Safety Team.
