How will smokefree happen?Answer:
Despite there being a deadline, Smokefree Herefordshire is hoping many businesses will have gone smokefree before July. Preparations through the media and special events will ensure everyone knows about the new law. Smokefree Herefordshire will be holding a business event in March and there will be public events in Hereford City and the Market Towns in June. A local advice line will also be made available.The Government (Department of Health) will contact all households and businesses directly, and there are websites http://www.smokefreeengland.co.uk/ and http://www.smokefree.gov/ with all the latest information, including where to get help.
