What is the Herefordshire 14-19 eManual?
The Purpose of the 14-19 eManual?
The 14-19 eManual is intended to provide an easily accessible working document for all 14-19 providers involved in collaborative provision of 14-19 education - schools, colleges and WRL providers. It pulls together core documents including policies, protocols and procedures developed from the original 14-19 Manual and drawn from National best practice, guidance and legal requirements. Model forms are included to cover all the forms needed to underpin 14-19 programmes.
It is packed full of guidance and systems for staff members to access to help them to deliver high quality programmes and courses. It is designed to safeguard students, staff and organisations and to remove barriers to collaboration by providing a common understanding of procedures and common working practices by all providers whether delivering the programmes or providing a learning base.
All partners, including learners and their parents/carers,
should sign up to a Partnership Agreement (a model is included
in the eManual) so that they understand exactly what they have
signed up for and what to expect.
