Young Apprenticeships give motivated and able KS4 students
the chance to combine the practical application of skills and
knowledge in a work context with the pursuit of qualifications
related to the various industry sectors.
Young Apprenticeships offer years 10 and 11 students the opportunity to spend fifty days gaining experience with an employer, training company or college.
Young Apprentices combine this extended work experience with college study, and this leads to a range of applied qualifications equivalent to A*-C at GCSE. This specialised learning is completed alongside study of the National Curriculum and other GCSEs in the rest of the school week.

If you complete the programme, you may be able to move more quickly towards a full-time Apprenticeship in your chosen area. However, you could also decide to stay on in full-time education, either at school or college.
