School and College Transport: Information about transport provided or subsidised by the local authority for Herefordshire's students. Arrangements are outlined for pupils with different needs from 4-19.
Search for Schools: Information about all the publicly funded schools in Herefordshire.
Additional support for learners: Information about special educational needs, the Parent Partnership Service, education welfare, home education and education support for looked after children.
Term Dates: All agreed term dates for future years in Herefordshire. Please note, these are the dates agreed by Headteachers together. However, schools have autonomy to differ from these and therefore these should be checked with individual schools.

School Closures: Updates for unplanned, emergency school closures as soon as a decision is made to close, or not open, a school due to adverse weather conditions or problems with the school facilities.
Schools, Colleges and HE
Herefordshire has 103 publicly funded schools including:- 81 primary schools
- 15 secondary schools (five with sixth forms)
- 4 special schools
- 3 pupil referral units
As in the rest of the country, a number of Herefordshire's schools have become Academies or are in the process of transferring to academy status. For more information about academy status for schools please follow the link to the Department for Education on the right.
