The New Exhibitor Award is given by Herefordshire Council's Cultural Services to assist county based craftspeople in promoting their work and reaching a wider audience. It includes a subsidised stand and promotional postcards for the selected craft maker.

Jewellery Exhibitors 2011

Bangles with enamel

Emily's work is inspired by colours and patterns worn by African tribes & the concept of families. Combining these ideas with natural forms & colours in textiles & artefacts, she works in sterling silver applying accents of vitreous coloured enamels.

Green Tulip

One-off designer made hats, headpieces and textile jewellery using a combination of traditional techniques with innovative shapes and unusual materials. Member of Gloucesterhsire & Devon Guilds of Craftsmen & of Studio Seven Contemporary Textiles.

Silver & enamel trio peardrop pendant

Rachel, celebrating 25 years in business, combines contemporary design with classic enamel techniques in her award winning pieces. She exhibits across the UK & gives Master Classes on her specialist knowledge. The Collection includes jewellery & smallwork

The jewellery is inspired by natural forms & is characterised by combining different textures & metal colours. It has been described as 'Contemporary Classic' it combines weight & movement and is both strong & feminine.

Sue Lane

Sue Lane's jewellery has a contemporary feel, incorporating clean lines & a combination of a soft matt finish contrasting with a polished elements. Her unique collection of rings for everyday wear & wedding & engagement rings have been well published.

Bold colourful jewellery for everyday wear using laminated perspex, silver, gold and semi-precious stones.

Single Bird Pendant

Working in silver with highlights of gold leaf, Debby makes jewellery inspired by her love of gardens. Doves and cockerels perch on press formed topiary bushes, creating amusing brooches and pendants.

Jane Moore

Colour is the most important part of Jane's work and enamel, her perfect medium. The inspiration mainly comes from her love of tiny patterns & motifs, found in Japanese art & artefacts. She combines her own patterns & colour to create 'one-off' pieces.

John Moore

Wearable sculptural forms in brightly coloured aluminium, silver and rubber, that delight the senses and beg the wearer to play.

Cathy Newell Price

Cathy works from her studio in old farm buildings & the natural world is a theme through her work. Pieces are made in a contemporary style, featuring surface texture & a high level of detail. She works in silver with semi-precious stones, gold & enamel.

Shivani

Shivani is a highly skilled designer goldsmith passionate about designing & constructing individual pieces of hand crafted jewellery. Her distinctive designs are made using high carat golds & oxidised silver, often combined with unusual bold gemstones.

Colour Feast Necklace

Colourful contemporary powder coated steel jewellery. The colour feast collection has been mixed up. The playfulness continues with a touch of charm and a splash of gold.

Julia Smith

Julia is a contemporary jeweller producing highly unique & innovative pieces. She has created an exciting range of kinetic jewellery based on a love of vintage items & antique scientific instruments. Work is primarily in silver with stone-set highlights

Adele Taylor

Adele picks up objects such as bits of broken car lights because of their textures & makes silver & 18ct gold casts to create pieces of jewellery or parts & small scale objects such as little vases for a single daisy. These pieces evoke personal memories
