Welcome to the online catalogue for the 18th Hereford Contemporary Craft Fair.  Here, you can preview the work of the 61 selected makers of contemporary craft who are exhibiting over the three days at this popular fair.

You will be able to choose from a stunning range of Jewellery, Textiles, Furniture, Wooden Home wares, Ceramics and Porcelain, Glass, Stone Carving, Basketry, Leather Bags, Fashion Accessories, Metalwork and Sculpture.

For the sixth year running, the Mike Gell Gallery sponsors an Alloy Graduate Exhibitor Stand – this year going to Debby Marsh for her silver jewellery inspired by her love of gardens, featuring doves and cockerals perching on press formed topiary bushes and Julia Smith for her exciting range of kinetic jewellery based on her love of vintage items and antique scientific instruments.  More information on the Alloy scheme can be found by clicking here.

The New Exhibitor Award for 2011 goes to Beryl Morgans; a mature student who recently graduated from Hereford College of Arts.  Beryl makes kiln formed glass but she uses strip cut glass and crucible melting techniques to create her beautiful vessels which were influenced by the structures she encountered during walks along the Severn Estuary.

More information on the inspiration behind Berl's work can be found by following the link from the homepage.

Visit the fair and buy direct from the makers, commission a piece of original work or just enjoy the ambience at this enchanting pre-Christmas show which will inspire and delight.

Open 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 5pm on Sunday.  The Courtyard has full disabled access and a cafe and restaurant that serve excellent, locally sourced food and drink. Click on their logo on the right to go to their website for more information on what they have to offer.

Entry is £3 (free access for carers) and visitors can vote for their favourite item in the show in the Best Product Award sponsored by Herefordshire Council and Friends of Herefordshire Museums and Arts. Visitors who complete a questionnaire, will be eligible for the Free Prize Draw of £50 to spend with the exhibitor of their choice.
