'Posh and Becks' shop till they drop in Hereford

‘Posh and Becks’ will be sampling the best that Hereford shopping has to offer on Monday 8 December.

The Country’s most celebrated couple will be splashing out and getting tills ringing across the City.

Matthew and Nerys Middleton are well known TV celebrity look-a-likes. She’s appeared on Parkinson and Matthew’s appeared on ‘Spend it Like Beckham’.

The couple will be in Hereford from 11am – 3pm on Monday, giving Hereford the ‘Beckingham Palace’ Royal seal of approval.

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome ‘Posh and Becks’ to Hereford, they’ll be in and out of shops all day - they’ll give the City a real buzz on Monday, it should be great fun!” said Juliette Coard, Manager of Maylord Shopping Centre.

Hereford City Partnership, Herefordshire Council and local retailers have teamed up to provide a variety of exciting events to make Christmas shopping in Hereford a great experience.

Another breathtaking event will see the Mayor, Cllr Mrs Ursula Attfield, abseiling down Marks and Spencers in the expert hands of Brummie Stokes. This will take place at 12pm, Friday 5 December.

There are also the regular attractions that have been arranged such as the street entertainers every Wednesday night, giving late night shopping an extra buzz.

Other entertainment for the City’s shoppers include carol singing, dancers and the Classic Hits FM double-decker bus.

Another thank you for Hereford shoppers comes in the form of the ‘Happy Hamper Draw’. This free prize draw is open to all and offers people the fantastic opportunity to win a £200 luxury hamper or 20 runners up hampers worth £50.
