Sure Start is pleased to announce the official opening of its new shop in the centre of Leominster offering services to local people in the heart of the community.
The shop will be open six days a week offering support, advice and information to families in and around Leominster.
It will provide a place for families to meet and for children to play in a safe and relaxed environment.
Services may include informal drop-ins, training courses, reading sessions, confidential groups and one-to-one sessions and crèche facilities.
Come along on Wednesday, March 5th, to 19a West St, Leominster, from
12 to 3.30 pm to see what it is all about!
The service will be community led with a local parent taking the role of Project Co-ordinator supported by Sure Start workers.
We welcome parents to come along and play an active role in the day to day running of the shop ensuring that the local community has a say in the services provided.
Sure Start aims to make life better for children, parents and communities by bringing together early education, childcare, health and family support.
The Shop will provide a chance to meet friends over a cup of coffee and make use of our baby changing facilities!
