Hereford Library Set to Roar



Herefordshire Libraries, in partnership with The Courtyard Arts Centre, is promising a roaring good morning of fun in March for the launch of an exciting new competition.

Fourteen pairs of tickets are up for grabs for the Courtyard Youth Theatre’s production of the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, at The Courtyard Arts Centre on April 23

To enter the competition, simply visit any Herefordshire Library or the website www.libraries.herefordshire.gov.uk throughout March and answer the quiz questions.

Hereford Library is hosting a mask-making day on Saturday, March 1, to coincide with the launch of the competition.

Craft materials will be supplied and Children under 16 are welcome to roll up their sleeves and get their paws dirty from 10.30 to 11.30am.

Sarah Chedgzoy, Herefordshire Council Libraries Learning and Access Manager, said: “This is a terrific opportunity for children to visit their local libraries, take part in the competition and see what’s on offer there.

“In addition they can come to Hereford Library on Saturday 1st March and have a great time making masks and getting their picture taken.”

The competition closes on Saturday, March 29.
