Comments of Herefordshire Council’s review of its funding of The Courtyard Centre for the Arts will be heard by a scrutiny committee when it meets on Tuesday next week, March 22.
The meeting of the authority’s Social and Economic Development Scrutiny Meeting will consider the response of Cabinet and the Board of the Courtyard to a report compiled by the Courtyard Review Group.
This group’s review was made public in January this year and has since been presented to Cabinet and the Courtyard’s Board.
Broadly, the report reviewed the Council’s contribution to the Courtyard and was presented as a basis to ensure the Council strikes the right balance between sustaining the important arts venue and ensuring it benefits the wider community.
The meeting is open to the public and takes place in Committee Room 1 at the Shirehall, Hereford, on Tuesday, March 22 at 10am.
