Herefordshire Council’s Parks, Countryside and Leisure Development Service has arranged for important tree works to take place at Westfield Walk, Leominster starting on Monday 26th January.
The work on the three large Plane trees, which will be undertaken by specialist tree surgeons J.A. Fisher Tree Surgery, is expected to take approximately one week to complete.
The Herefordshire Council apologises for any inconvenience, but wishes to advise road users that the work will result in the temporary closure of sections of one lane at Westfield Walk and, for a short time, the road at the junction of Westgate.
It would be advisable to avoid this route during the week if at all possible.
It is hoped that the work will prolong the lives of the Planes and ensure they are safe roadside trees.
