If you are thinking of letting a property then you should get along to Herefordshire Council’s Landlord Fair to be held on Wednesday, 11th February, at The Courtyard, Edgar Street, in Hereford, from 4pm to 8pm.
The Fair is an information event that offers support and advice on a range of issues to landlords and prospective landlords who may be considering letting a property to the public.
Information on empty housing (and how properties can be brought back into use), planning applications and conditions; tax implications of letting out properties, and tenancy services provided by local letting agents and Herefordshire Council will be just some of what’s on offer at the Fair.
Richard Gabb, Head of Strategic Housing, said: “The fair is a great opportunity for private landlords to access a range of advice and services relevant to them all in one place.
“It also provides us with a chance to talk to local private landlords and find out what issues are affecting them and what we can do to help.”
Advice and information will be provided by Enabling and Housing Needs, Trading Standards, Housing Benefit, Planning, Private Sector Housing, Police, Inland Revenue, various Housing Associations and Local Lettings Agents.
