Parent Information Sessions

Parents and carers of children with special educational needs are being offered easy-to-access advice sessions by Herefordshire Council’s Parent Partnership Service.

The Service has joined forces with the library service to provide help sessions at local libraries throughout Herefordshire.

The information sessions include displays and free literature covering the different kinds of special educational needs such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

A member of the parent Partnership Service staff will be on hand to answer questions.

People are welcome to “drop-in” for advice and no appointments are necessary.

The following sessions have been arranged for February and March:

  • February 7 at the Leintwardine Library from 3 to 5pm.
  • February 13 at the Belmont Library from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
  • February 20 at the Weobley Library from 3 to 5pm.
  • February 27 at the Leominster Library from 10am to 12.30pm.
  • March 4 at the Ross Library from 2 to 4.30pm.
  • March 11 at the Kington Library from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
