Vehicle crime is on the decrease in Herefordshire, we continue to improve in recycling our household waste but we’re still some of the lowest paid employees in the region.
These statistics and many more can be found in the “State of Herefordshire Report” 2003/2004, this is the fourth annual report to be published.
The "State of Herefordshire Report" provides data for a set of statistical indicators that are being used to monitor trends in Herefordshire in relation to elsewhere, together with other ‘scene-setting’ facts and figures about the County.
It also points the way for anyone wanting more detailed information about Herefordshire on a wide range of issues.
The report, which has been put together by local partners, links with aims set out in the Herefordshire Plan - the key strategic ten-year vision for the County.
The Plan includes ten ambitions that were drawn up following extensive consultation across the County - these ambitions represent those things that are most important to the people of Herefordshire.
Neil Pringle, Chair of Herefordshire Partnership, said: “This report gathers valuable information about the County which helps us plan the services we deliver, identify changing needs and support crucial funding bids for Herefordshire.”
Copies of the report will be available for members of the public to use for reference purpose at local libraries and Info in Herefordshire. It will also be accessible from http://www.herefordshirepartnership.com/
