Have you got an idea or project that needs funding?
Could a grant of up to £1000 help you get it off the ground?
Then the Small Projects Fund could be just what you are looking for.
The Small Projects Fund helps to establish, improve and develop new facilities and services across Herefordshire.
The fund is used for a variety of projects providing they support people and activities in rural areas.
Examples of eligible projects include plans to upgrade facilities at village halls, provide holiday activity programmes or support community initiatives such as a litter watch.
Tracy Ricketts, Regeneration Co-ordinator, said: “The Herefordshire Partnership is committed to supporting communities in rural areas.
“This grants scheme provides a valuable opportunity for the community to receive financial help for projects.
“If you have a project that you think fits the criteria make sure you pick up an application form.”
Community and voluntary organisations and social enterprises can apply, but not individuals or individual businesses.
The grant can be up to 50% of the total eligible project costs - to a maximum of £1,000.
The fund is administered by the Herefordshire Partnership Delegated Grants and Programmes Team.
For further information or an application form contact the Project Development Team on 01432 261792 or email projectdevelopment@herefordshire.gov.uk.
The scheme runs until March 2006
