More than 100 guests packed Hereford Town Hall on November 7th to witness 16 Early Years and Childcare providers being presented with the Bronze Award of the Growing Together Quality Assurance Scheme.
The 16 childcare providers, representing day nurseries, pre-schools, playgroups, childminding, crèches and out of school care, were presented with their certificates by Cllr Don Rule MBE, Cabinet Member for Education and member of the Early Years Development & Childcare Partnership.
The evening celebrated the quality of childcare provision throughout Herefordshire.
Maria Jones, Quality Assurance Co-ordinator said: “ I am delighted to see so many of our childcare providers here celebrating their success.
“This has been very much a learning curve for us all, as it was the first time Herefordshire Council has introduced Quality Assurance into Early Years Education and Childcare.
