Leominster Regeneration Company

Have you noticed how Leominster has improved? There’s the new youth hostel, the blooming Riverside Millennium Green, changes for the better to the streets and shops and a major new extension to the Town’s Industrial Estate.

Or have you enjoyed the Christmas celebrations, family fun day last summer, tried a course at the Leominster Education Resource Centre, heard about the Leominster Youth project or benefited from the Money Box Credit Union?

If you have and you’re curious about what’s been happening and who’s paying for it all, then now’s your chance to find out more.

The annual community meeting of the Leominster Regeneration Company is your opportunity to hear how Leominster will benefit in the future and it will take place at the Lion Ballroom Broad Street, Leominster on Wednesday 8th October at 7 pm.

Last year around 100 people from the local community came along to hear and have their say.

Nick Webster, Leominster Market Towns Officer, said: “The Leominster Regeneration Company think there is still more work to be done and this AGM will demonstrate to local people what could potentially happen in the town and surrounding area.

“It will provide people with the information they need to become involved in the whole regeneration process.”

A review of the last five years of project work in Leominster and a special feature on the Leominster Industrial Access Road will be the focus of the meeting, which will last around one hour.

Then there will be a chance to meet and talk to Board Members and Officers involved as well as enjoy the free refreshments available.

For more information about the meeting please contact Nick Webster on 01432 260706.
