A new service has been launched in Herefordshire this week which will help county artists and companies to tap into £1.7 million worth of funding.
Grants for new ideas, help for craftsworkers and media companies, plus training and community projects all aim to raise the profile of creative work in Herefordshire.
To make sure those who need to know about the initiative a new brochure detailing the opportunities is now available.
Creative Industries co-ordinator, Andy Dawson, said: “There’s already lots of people earning a living from creative work in the county.
"We want to raise the game and help more people do more”.
Anyone working in advertising, architecture, antiques, crafts, design, fashion, film and video, computer games, music or the performing arts can get involved - they just need to pick up a copy of the new Creative Industries brochure to find out how.
The programme is funded by European Regional Development Fund, Advantage West Midlands, the Regional Regeneration Zone, Business Links and Herefordshire Council.
