Car Story Comes to Herefordshire Schools

Pupils at a number of primary school in Herefordshire are to learn about road safety and greener ways to travel to school when the Box Clever Theatre Company comes to town next week.

It will be the second tour of the county by the Box Clever Theatre Company which will perform a colourful production called 'Car Story'.

The short play, written by Michael Wicherek, is being brought to Herefordshire primary schools during Autumn Walk to School week, by the Green Transport Promotions Project.

Car Story highlights road and personal safety together with the benefits of walking, cycling and public transport in a fun way which includes pupil participation.

Designed for three to six year-olds, Car Story features Holly (aged 10 and a bit) (played by Kathryn O’Reilly) and her dad, aged thirty-something (Joseph Raishbrook), with live music performed by Roland John-Leopoldie.

Among the schools the travelling theatre company will visit are: Broadlands Primary School in Hereford, Ledbury Primary School and Ashfield Park Primary School in Ross-on-Wye.
