A new Children’s Resource Directory is now available on the Herefordshire Council website.
It is designed to draw together in one place information about the agencies dealing with children including health, education and social care.
The directory has been produced in response to the need for clear and up-to-date information on services available for children and their families in Herefordshire.
Cllr Olwyn Barnett (Cabinet Member, Social Care and Strategic Housing) said: “This is a fantastic resource for families and children.
“It is a comprehensive listing of services available and we are very pleased to be able to offer this on our web site.”
It is intended for use by professionals as well as by parents and young people themselves and aims to list a full range of both statutory and voluntary services.
This work has been done as part of the Information Sharing and Assessment project in Children's Services.
The Directory can be accessed via the Community, People and Living pages of the Herefordshire Council website www.herefordshire.gov.uk/childrensresources.
