On Thursday evening (19 November 2009) Herefordshire Council’s archive service will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. The service, which is based in the Record Office in Harold Street, Hereford, has nearly two miles of records of interest to researchers, besides microform, books and electronic databases and indexes.
