Plans for seven homes at Ledbury approved

21 November 2008

Plans for a terrace of seven homes and associated car parking at the rear of The Homend service station, The Homend, Ledbury, were approved by members of the northern area planning sub-committee at their meeting on Wednesday, November 19.

The site is currently a car park and an area of vacant land.

All of the houses will have three bedrooms and have been designed so the main living areas face away from the petrol filling station.

Secure cycle parking storage and ten car parking spaces will be provided.

Severn Trent Water had no objection.

Ledbury Parish Council recommended approval and two letters of support were received from a local resident.

Occupiers of seven properties in the immediate area objected saying the development would destroy views and concerns at the proximity to the petrol station.

A further letter of objection was received from a member of the public who wished to see a modern design on the site.
