The West Midlands TravelWise group ran a competition last term inviting primary school children all over the West Midlands to draw pictures to be included in this year's TravelWise calendar.
The winning picture selected for Herefordshire was drawn by Dylan Buckley-Amey, age 10, a pupil at Garway Primary School.
Dylan was presented with a framed picture of his drawing at a special ceremony at his school.
The award was presented by School Travel Adviser Linda Sinker.
The contest formed part of TravelWise week which took place in September.
The theme of the competition was sustainable travel, for example, walking, cycling, bus or train travel.
Dylan's picture, for November 2006, is of a windblown school bus and will also be on the front cover of the calendar.
