New support for Herefordshire’s home businesses

24 October 2008

Herefordshire Council has launched a new Home Business Network which will offer training and advice to the county's home-based workers and businesses.

Many work in isolation and often do not know where to go for advice and support.

"If you're working from home and struggling with your tax return or finding it hard to devote time to your business, we're planning to hold training sessions to help you," said Andy Dawson, Herefordshire Council's creative industries co-ordinator.

He added that the network will also offer e-mail alerts to keep home businesses up to date with developments.

The first two-hour training sessions kicks off at 4pm on Thursday, November 20. It will be held at Evans Easyspace, located on Holme Lacey Road at Rotherwas, Hereford.
