Extra car boot sales at Madley renewed

Planning permission for the renewal of 10 extra car boot sales per calendar year at Ashford Stables, Stoney Street, Madley, was approved by members of the southern area planning sub-committee at their meeting on Wednesday, September 17.

It is possible to use land for car boot sales for 14 days a year without the need for a planning application.

The application seeks to renew a temporary planning permission for an additional 10 days (a total of 24 per year) that expired on August 31, 2008.

Madley Parish Council supported the application.

One letter of objection was received concerned at noise from the events.
