Plans for three homes at Eardisley approved

31 July 2008

Plans for three homes with associated access and parking on land next to Orchard Close, Eardisley, were approved by members of the northern area planning sub-committee at their meeting on Wednesday, July 30.

One of the homes will have four-bedrooms and the other two are three-bedroomed.

The Environment Agency had no objections but wanted conditions on the floor levels of all buildings.

Herefordshire Council’s conservation manager said the house designs were broadly acceptable whilst amended plans addressed the concerns raised by the transportation manager.

Eardisley Parish Council objected on the basis of increased traffic and felt bungalows would be more in keeping with the area.

Eighteen letters of objection were received from local residents concerned at additional traffic, overlooking and loss of privacy and over-development.
