Work starts on new zebra crossing

21 July 2008

Work started today (Monday July 21) on a new zebra crossing on the B4216 at New Street, Ledbury.

The crossing, placed outside the Somerfield supermarket, will provide a safe crossing point for pedestrians.

Work will take two weeks to complete and will take place during the school holidays to minimise disruption to traffic.

Traffic management will be used as required during the off-peak hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm, again to keep disruption to a minimum.
