Herefordshire Council’s cabinet has today agreed to defer making a decision about the future of the local education authority’s St Martin’s swimming pool to allow officers more time to review and clarify the financial business case.
Recognising the importance of the decision, cabinet members are taking full account of all communications received by schools and community groups before making a final decision.
This includes views of school children from Credenhill, St Mary’s CE Primary School who spoke to members before the cabinet meeting on 10th July.
The future of St Martin’s swimming pool will now be considered at a cabinet meeting scheduled for the 31st July.
