Parking charges across the county have just been reviewed for the first time since 2003.
As a result of this review, charges at Bromyard's Tenbury Road car park will be 40p for one hour. The charge for over three hours will be £1.20. Season ticket charges will stay the same at £45 per quarter. These changes will be introduced from Monday, June 2.
Councillor Brian Wilcox, Herefordshire Council's cabinet member for highways and transportation, said: "As part of our policy to encourage people to visit our market towns, we have been able to minimise the increase in charges in Tenbury Road car park, the one charging car park in the town. Motorists will still be able to park all day in this car park for just £1.20.
"This compares favourably with charges currently levied in Ludlow, Monmouth and Malvern where parking all day costs from £2.30 to £3," he added.
