After 10 years of managing the City Walls car park in Hereford on behalf of the landowner, Herefordshire Council has relinquished the day-to-day operation of the car park.
As from April 1, 2008, the car park is now independently managed by the landowner and Herefordshire Council has no jurisdiction over it.
However, City Walls remains a public pay and display car park with all matters relating to enforcement and everyday management now being the sole responsibility of the owner.
