The Printmakers Co-operative, set up in 1976, is a long established workshop used by a growing number of new and prominent printmakers in and around the Oxford area.
The subjects explored by the printmakers are as diverse as the range of printmaking techniques used. These approaches vary from vibrant innovative styles to more traditional methods developed since the 16th century.
Regular visitors to the art gallery will recognise a number of the printmakers from the annual touring exhibitions of The Society of Wood Engravers, a group who have exhibited in Hereford many times over the years.
'Exploring Printmaking', a workshop for adults, will take place at the museum on Thursday, April 10. Rahima Kenner, a member of the Oxford Printmakers Co-operative, will be running the session from 10am until 4.30pm. There are a limited number of places, so book early. The fee is £20.
Admission to Hereford Museum & Art Gallery is free with access for visitors with disabilities. The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am until 5pm. Sundays from April including Easter Sunday, Easter Monday and Bank Holiday Monday, May 5. Closed Mondays and Good Friday.
The Oxford Primtmakers Co-operative exhibition runs until Wednesday, May 7.
