Charming treasures from Christmas past will be on display to accompany a fun and exciting Christmas activity for children at a special event being held at the Museum Resource and Learning Centre in Friar Street, Hereford.
Box of Delights on Friday, December 21, is running from 11am until 3pm and will offer the chance for youngsters to make a Box of Christmas Delights to take home. Past toys and games, Christmas cards and other sparkly things will be on show.
People can drop in any time between 11am and 3pm but children must be accompanied.
Judy Stevenson, Herefordshire Council's collections and access officer, said: "This will be a wonderful opportunity for people to see how past generations celebrated Christmas with toys and games that compare to the ones we enjoy today.
"Christmas is a wonderful time to think about others and this event offers a chance for children and adults to explore the real meaning of the festive season," she added.
