Tudor Workshop Day at Ledbury Primary School

15 November 2007

Ledbury Primary School is stepping back in time for the day to experience what it was like living in Tudor times.

The school's nine and ten year olds will be ditching their pencils and learning how to use quills. In some workshops delivered by Herefordshire Council's Heritage team, they'll also be learning to create their own buildings with wattle and daub using medieval tools, and experiencing what it was like being poor in those days.

They've all dressed up as Tudors for the day with authentic caps, hats and aprons provided by the Heritage team.

Activities take place throughout the day (Thursday 15th November
