Pumpkin mania in Kingstone

05 November 2007

Young people in Kingstone were geared up for this year's Halloween as the council's youth service organised an evening of ghoulish activity for them on 30th October.

Mask making and pumpkin lanterns were on the agenda at the youth night in the old school hall Kingstone.

This group is for 11-19 year olds and meets every Tuesday from 7-9pm at the old school hall in Kingstone and it's free of charge. Table tennis and pool are available every week, but there are also a range of other activities organised by the youth and community worker on a regular basis.

The next big event is jewellery making which takes place on 6th and 20th November, and young people can try their hand at djing on the 27th November.

All events are free and all 11-19 year olds are welcome. For further information contact Sarah Melia on (01432) 383376.
