Sophie Grigson was the Guest of Honour to present the prizes to those judged to be the very best at using and promoting local, Herefordshire produce.
The awards system also helps to ensure that visitors to the county can be confident while travelling around Herefordshire - by highlighting the places where taste and quality are often combined with the odd surprise.
A 'Young Chef' competition, run in conjunction with the Flavours of Herefordshire awards scheme, produced two worthy winners: Andrew Link - who works at The Riverside Inn, in Aymestry and Nathan Mizen, who is Training at Herefordshire College of Technology.
